  1. Il Duce. Look at that mouth, same on both of them! Wonder if he'll come to the same end. Hung upside down in a village square

    1. It's that same arrogant smirk; perfected by both of them!

  2. Poor Macron. He won't have good memories of this Bastille Day.

    2. Every day the idiot-in-chief finds a new way to embarrass us. He's such a disgusting pig.

  3. Funnily enough, all the newsfootage I've seen from the 13th shows The Boy Wonder with his hands all over POTUS.

  4. Odd you mention that because the young Obama was a double for a young Idi Amin, before he got chubby eating er well whatever.........

    1. Idi Amin was an idiot towards his own country, yet a blessing for the UK. He sent over a whole army of keen entrepreneurs who taught Blighty the meaning of 'hard work' (and therefore success). He would have been wiser to have kept them at home. I hadn't noticed the similarity in looks with Obama.

  5. Careful - I got into trouble for comparing him to Hitler.

    1. I can imagine similar thoughts going through their minds.

  7. If you were to compare Hitler to anyone it would have to be Jeremy Corbyn. Very similar mannerisms when speaking and very poor educational background. Both expressed support for other despotic regimes as well.
You are correct about Amin though. His loss was certainly our gain. Just as the Asian influx from those expelled from Mozambique gave our economy a huge boost. Quite idiotic these leaders when they penalise their most productive citizens to appease their ideological followers.

    1. And both Hitler and Corbyn specifically encourage youth followings. I was quite disturbed seeing Corbyn at Glastonbury.

    2. Ah yes, the infamous 'Corbyn Youth'.

    3. It was the way he addressed them too.

  8. How crazy to compare Corbyn with Hitler.

    1. They are right in one respect, that Corbyn is admired by a lot of people as was Herr Hitler, and I was wrong in one respect when I compared Trump to Hitler. He is running out of admirers very rapidly.

    2. As, I hear, is Corbyn. Although I wait to be convinced.

  9. Better there than here, though I'm sure he'll say something stupid while there too.

    1. We do love a French win on the 14th July. My youngest son's birthday tomorrow; he should have been born on the 14th. I blame his Swedish mother.

  11. Take two: Trump has taken to referring to 39 yr old Don Jr as a 'kid'. Wonder if he referred to Macron in a similar fashion?
Also: I was born the day after Bastille Day as well.

    1. I believe he said that Macron's wife was 'in good shape'. Whether she took it as a compliment or not, I don't know.
