Proof, if needed.

Nothing surprises me any more, even finding both Lady Magnon and Bok fast asleep together on her sofa.

It's a good thing I keep a small camera handy, otherwise I'm certain they'd both flatly deny it!

    1. No it isn't!

If loving naps is wrong, I don't wanna be right! :)

    2. Certainly not; I do it myself.

  3. There are times when it all gets too much, and a little nap is just the answer !

  4. It is a mere reaction to all the "Xmas" hassle....
    keep Christmas simple...
    turkey and stuffing salad sandwich...
    bottle of wine...
half a Christmas pud for afters...
    another bottle of wine...
    open presents...
    and another bottle of wine...
    watch "Where Eagles Dare"!!
Finish with a whisky, or a whiskey...
    or a brandy...
and some fine, home-made mince tarts.
All that's needed is a good log fire to sit in front of for the presents, the movie and the digestif!

    2. That's just about how it happens here, although I'll swap Where Eagles Dare for A Wonderful Life. Lady M's Mince Pies are to die for!

    1. She has a two-seater, I have a three-seater. You can probably guess why.

    1. We still put the chairs on at night, but then she invites him to sit with her during the day... It doesn't make sense.

  10. Erm......it's just a thought Cro - if Lady M. sees this post, will you be out of hospital in time to enjoy Christmas? Can you manage on crutches - the dog walks might be difficult

  11. At least you didn't take a picture of her sleeping with her mouth open.

I love that Bok seems to be hugging Lady M. That is so sweet.

    1. It starts the day you retire.

    2. In that case I shall put off retiring as long as possible, probably forever.

    3. The great thing about being retired, Rachel, is that you always wonder how on earth you ever got the time to go to work ! It's true - ask anyone, and the little naps creep up on you !

  16. There have been quite a few days in the past week when I was longing for a nap...but circumstances did not permit me this recharging.

I foresee a nap on Christmas afternoon.

    Best wishes.

    1. I love a short nap after lunch; usually just 10 mins, but it does the job.
